Our “grease-like” metalforming compounds are highly fortified with additives that prevent metal-to-metal contact at the tool-workpiece interface where temperatures can exceed 1000° C. We specialize in forming and drawing compounds for tube, rod, wire, bar and blanks. Hangsterfer’s Aldraw J-1 Dark and Aldraw J-50 of forming and fabricating compounds offers high performance lubricants for a broad range of applications. From stamping and blanking of carbon steel to drawing of high nickel tubing, Aldraw products provide extended die life, improved surface finish and reduced scrap material. The non-hazardous formulation provides for a safe work environment and easy waste disposal.

Ozonic ® 203 is one of the leading aluminum fin stamping compounds in the industry. The effectiveness of the Ozonic 203 on aluminum fin stamping contributes to its excellent performance on other materials that require the same chemical and physical characteristics. It provides good lubricity while evaporating completely after most light stamping and light forming operations. Ozonic 203 meets or exceeds most industrial health, safety and environmental requirements in its class.

After considerable research and mill testing, Hangsterfer’s Laboratories perfected 114 QD-NF and 5 PC-NF that will permit unusually difficult draws on stainless steel, beryllium copper, zirconium, nickel alloys and carbon steels. Suitable for use on wire, tube and blanks, our precoat concentrates virtually eliminate galling, chatter and scratching.
